Digital diplomas for PhD graduates

PhD diplomas at the University of Copenhagen are issued digitally. 

When your degree is awarded, you will receive an email confirming the award and you will receive your digital diploma within two months. 

The diploma is sent to you via Digital Post. You can access it by logging in to mit.dkborger.dk and eBoks. Here, you can download the diploma and forward it to contacts or digital post recipients when needed.

You will receive your diploma in your Digital Post within two months after your degree has been awarded. If you need the diploma urgently, please contact the PhD Administration.

If you no longer have access to your Digital Post, you can have your diploma sent to your email. Please contact the PhD Administration for assistance. 

 

 

If you are not registered at the University of Copenhagen with a Danish CPR number, your digital diploma will be sent to your email. 

 

 

If your digital diploma is not accepted – for instance when applying to a foreign university or having your degree recognised abroad  you can contact the PhD Administration. They can issue certified copies of your digital diploma. 

For the PhD Administration to issue a physical copy of your diploma, you must submit documentation showing that a third party has requested you to provide a physical copy of the diploma.
